Blackcurrant "Bigno"

 Description : Bigno is an early and very productive variety. The fruit, with its very good flavor, is harvested from late June to early July. Self-fertile but yields are improved if cross-pollinated with another blackcurrant variety.
 Exposure : Non-burning sun to partial shade.
 Soil : All soils not too chalky.
 Harvest period : End of June - beginning of July
 Hardiness : Up to -20°C.
 Adult size : Up to 1.5m high and 1m wide
 Pollination : Self-fertile
